Fellowship Program Directors Committee

Purpose
Support the ongoing development and enhancement of OPS fellowship training programs through collaborative oversight and continuous improvement efforts.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop collaborative forums for Fellowship Program Directors and Fellows focused on continuous improvement and support of OPS fellowships.
  • Ensure OPS program requirements are current and relevant.
  • Promote feedback from Fellowship Program Directors on key program elements (e.g. program requirements, match dates).

Composition
1. Chair
2. Fellowship Education Director
3. Assistant Fellowship Education Director
4. Immediate Past Fellowship Education Director
5. In-Service Exam Workgroup Chair
6. Up to five (5) Fellowship Program Directors of OPS fellowship training programs.

Qualifications
The Chair shall have been a Fellowship Program Director of an OPS fellowship for at least five (5) years. Members shall be Fellowship Program Directors of OPS fellowship training programs.

Terms
The Chair shall serve two (2) years and may be appointed to an additional two (2) year term. Ex-officio members shall serve during their time in Office. Members shall serve a two (2) year term and may be appointed to an additional two (2) year term.

Restrictions
The Chair shall not be a member of the Board of Directors. 

Time Commitment
5-10 hours per year.
