Marketing Committee

Purpose
Develop, guide, and oversee strategies that enhance ASOPRS’ visibility, reputation, and engagement with the public and medical professionals.  

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement an annual comprehensive marketing strategy to align with ASOPRS’ goals and mission.
  • Ensure consistency and alignment of messaging across all communication channels and materials.
  • Guide the creation and dissemination of content, including social media, website updates, and promotional materials.
  • Provide oversight to ensure content reflects the organization’s brand, tone, and mission.

Composition
Chair, Vice President, Finance Director, and at least seven (7) members.

Terms
Members shall serve a three (3) year term and may be appointed to an additional three (3) year term. The Vice President and Finance Director shall serve during their time in office. The Chair shall serve a three (3) year term and may be appointed to an additional three (3) year term.

Qualifications
Members shall ideally have experience with private practice or institutional marketing initiatives. The Chair shall have served on the Committee.

Time Commitment
8-10 hours per year.
