Thesis Workgroup

Purpose
To assess whether a thesis submitted by a membership candidate meets the established criteria for acceptance.

Primary Responsibilities

• Review submitted theses to determine if each is acceptable according to guidelines and policy.
• Recommend candidates for the Reeh Pathology Award to the Awards Workgroup.
• Chose candidates and winner of the Quickert Thesis Award.

Composition
Composed of a Chair and at least six (6) members. 

Qualifications
Members shall have published research in the last three (3) years. The Chair shall be the senior member of the Committee.

Terms
Members shall serve successive terms until they reach the senior position, at which time they serve as Chair. The Chair shall serve for one (1) year.

Time Commitment
10-12 hours per year.
